MS Clubs

Book Club
Do you enjoy reading? Come join a group of fellow readers. We can choose a great book to read and discuss, as well as provide time just to relax and read!
Book Club is sponsored by Mrs. Hutson and Mrs. Ludwig and meets every Friday in the Media Center.
Environmental Club
The Environmental Club is for students who love nature and care about the environment. We will develop and implement projects that the members decide are most important and doable. Last year we focused on recycling at the school, but other ideas were protection of the plants and animals around our campus and encouraging a carpooling plan for car riders. We also want to have lots of fun as a group so plan on some outdoor trips (canoeing, hiking, etc.) to experience the nature we love!
Environmental Club is sponsored by Mrs. Houston and Mrs. Myhan and meets every Monday in Mrs. Myhan’s Room.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Becoming stronger influences on and off the field for Jesus Christ.

International Service and Awareness Club
It’s a small world after all! Students of the International Service and Awareness Club will promote international understanding by building relationships with SMMHS international students and connecting with their communities. The world will be brought right to SMMHS through a variety of activities such as: service projects, personal communications (i.e. e-pal, etc.) and exploration of current global issues. Students will actively research non-profit organizations and will allocate some funds from the “Water for Wotera” project as well as funding from projects planned by the group.
