Early College English 12
12th Grade Assignments
There is no required summer reading for my class.  Students need to make sure they have the two required textbooks for the first day of class. Those books are available in the Chattanooga State bookstore and they are Writing on the River (black cover-2nd edition) and the Wadsworth handbook (orange cover-6th edition with 2009 MLA update). They may be purchased online, but make sure they are the correct editions. Both are available used and with summer classes ending Aug. 10th there will be quite a few used copies coming in for those who go early to purchase books.

An important task to complete is to fill out the TN Dual Enrollment grant online. The website is http://chattanoogastate.edu/dual_enrollment/dugrant.html and if it is completed by the deadline before the semester then the $300 credit is applied before the semester instead of receiving a check after the semester is over.
