Physical Education

Physical Education is a course that can be taken either as a one-semester course of a full-year course. There will be a different curriculum each nine weeks and may include the following:
1. Outdoor Adventure (hiking, team work, low rope elements, and outdoor safety)
2. Team Sports (football, soccer, softball, basketball and volleyball)
3. Health & Fitness (circuit training, cardiovascular endurance, fitness testing and group fitness classes)
4. Individual Sports (tumbling, tennis, golf, track, Frisbee)
Each section of the course will have a written and skills test. There will be some health curriculum built in to the course. In P.E. class, all students will be expected to work well in a group. All students are required to purchase a P.E. uniform. Shorts and shirts cost $6 each. Students have the option to wear black shorts (length to finger-tips). During outdoor activities, students are encouraged to bring their own water.
